The ANU School of Philosophy warmly welcome Academic Visitor Professor Ishani Maitra
Friday 17 May 2019

Professor Ishani Maitra (from the University of Michigan) is currently working on several projects. One project looks at what it is to tell a lie, and what relation lying bears to intentions to deceive. Another considers the nature of the injustices done to agents when their speech is disabled. A third project is a textbook that introduces advanced undergraduates and beginning graduate students to social philosophy of language.
